Today’s scent has what has to be the cutest name in existence. I wouldve bought this if it smelled like actual dog breath. Thankfully, it does not.
The essence of pink sandpapery tongues, silky ears, and sleepy little sighs. A batter of rich cream, soft coconut milk, rice syrup, copaiba balsam, massoia bark and milky pearl musk is gently licked with sweet peppermint, sugared bayberry, and the tiniest smooches of Oregon lavender and Dalmatian sage.
In the bottle, Puppy Kisses smells like soft lavender, sweet mint, and cream.
Wet on skin it’s rich and creamy, and I smell more coconut. The mint is a bit stronger and there’s a tiny hint of herbal sage to complement the lavender. It’s quite buttery here, too.
On dry down, the buttery sweetness mellows and the lavender is a little more apparent. It’s also got a nice milky muskiness to it, but overall this one’s not a huge morpher. It’s just lovely all the way through.
I love Puppy Kisses, could you tell? I really do. It’s a beautiful, comforting scent.
Elevator Pitch: Soft coconut, mint, and lavender over a base of milky musk. Reminiscent of those little pastel butter mints, but less sweet.
Next up: I haven’t decided yet! Little Ghoulie? Bluestocking? Madame Lapin? IT’S A MYSTERY.
